JEAN HEAD LOUIS HEAD

JEAN HEAD JUSTINE BELOUX-HEAD

It was in 1921 that JEAN TÊTE created the estate, on his return from the First World War, by acquiring several plots in Beaujolais

His son, Louis TÊTE, took over the estate and developed activities throughout France, at a time when he acquired a plot of land in Moulin-à-Vent.

JEAN TÊTE, grandson, is descended for four generations from two families of merchants and winegrowers, always established in Saint-Didier-sur-Beaujeu.

In 1977, Jean Tête took over the company to conquer exports.

It was in 2005 that Jean's daughter, Justine, took over management.

Justine transforms the vineyards into organic farming, respectful of the environment and biodiversity.

With the desire to preserve and develop the heritage passed down, Justine is rehabilitating the historic and typical Beaujolais cellar located in Saint-Didier-sur-Beaujeu, into a reception area.

The J.TÊTE estate is currently working on several appellations: Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais Blanc Villages, Brouilly, Coteaux Bourguignons, Moulin-à-Vent, Crémant de Bourgogne.
